WHAT IS IT ABOUT ARTS AND DEMENTIA?

A collaboration with ForMed Films CIC to disseminate some of the findings of my PhD research.

CREATIVE & CREDIBLE

A knowledge exchange project that sought to build resources and skills within the arts and cultural sector to help them evaluate arts for health and wellbeing projects in creative and credible ways.

This was a collaboration between Willis Newson and the University of the West of England, funded by the ESRC.

ESRC CULTURE, SPORT, COMMUNITIES & WELLBEING EVIDENCE PROGRAMME

A programme seeking to build wellbeing evidence to inform policy and practice around loneliness. A first review looked at conceptualisation of loneliness, and a second is currently reviewing evidence around sports/physical activity and participatory arts in relation to space and place, intangible assets, and volunteering.

I am a Research Assistant working on this project, for Brunel University London.

METHODOLOGICAL CHALLENGES OF EVALUATING ARTS-BASED ACTIVITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA

PhD research within the TAnDem Doctoral Training Centre, funded by the Alzheimer's Society. Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester.
